The basic MATRIX frames are incredibly light; each frame weighs in at LESS THAN ONE POUND and is exceptionally strong. Available adjustments include the length of the pivot pins and the click-action control of the double-action suspension parts. The pivot pins, the suspension and toe stop adjustments all have locking mechanisms, either a locknut or locking screws, to ensure the adjustments always remain exactly as set.
The Roll-Line MATRIX frames are constructed of a material called 'Ergal' which is an aluminum alloy known for its light weight and exceptional strength. The aluminum trucks hold titanium axles, while the double-action suspension is made up of precision Elastomer cushions. The adjustable pivot pins are made of titanium for added strength in this high-stress area. The titanium axles measure 7 millimeters in diameter and come with gold self-locking nuts as well as a set of bearing spacers.
In addition to the basic frames, the Roll-Line MATRIX plates come with a set of high-end Professional Toe Stops, a second set of Elastomer suspension cushions, a set of bearing spacers, and a frame mounting kit. The mounted cushion set has a 'medium hard' rating while the alternate set is rated 'medium'. The frame mounting kit has bolts to fit both heeled artistic skate boots and unheeled jam-speed skate boots.
Frames this technologically advanced have a number of adjustments which can be made to set the frames to the exact needs of the indiviudal skater. To assist in easily performing these adjustments, as well as locking-down these adjustments, a 7-piece tool kit is provided with these frames. The kit includes some lubricating oil and, as shown in the picture, this tool kit comes in aits own plastic carrying case.
